USE THE TRIFORCE WISELY...
“A long, long time ago the World was in an age of Chaos. In the middle of this chaos, in a little kingdom in the land of Hyrule, a legend was being handed down from generation to generation, the legend of the ‘Triforce’; golden triangles possessing mystical powers.”
This mask was different in a few ways. One, the final design wasn’t final – we pivoted and added the shield to one side, rather than mirroring the hawk logo. But that’s not all that odd.
What was odd was someone taking the finished backplate out of my garage and kicking it down the street a few blocks, just before the mask was due to be sent back. I think it was just someone who was bored and looking for something to wreck, and I guess all the glass had already been smashed out of the local bus stops. It was a strange occurrence in our usually peaceful neighbourhood, and hopefully just a one-off thing. Thankfully, I was able to source a new backplate to replace the damaged one.
The design and colours mostly match to this goalie’s team, replacing the team name with his own; the backplate features a quote from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, as well as the Hyrule Crest and the Sheikah Eye.
When Liam wears this mask, I hope victory will be his that day!
